"Abandon the run?" - No - i said: "A band on the run!"

Amen. Honey dears with henna tattoos. Make a better world. I'm all for 'tattoo of the month'. It could be a club, or something.

Good evening gentlemen. (bows)
What's going on around here then? . Been on the road all day, so just check in here, at this roadstop for the soul, for a plate of beans, poems and chips ....heheh.
As Honey Dears with henna tattoos dance across the screen, ah beauty, beauty Honey Dears! , Henna! Of course! All Celtic twisty designs and things. (henna is better than biro. best not to use biro for temporary tattoos, although I did once write a peculiar rhyme in mirror writing along my left arm, with a biro, .
As one does.
Unless one doesn't.
I detect that this moment might just break out in opera. I quite often hear opera when my soul is wounded, which it is, (clutches heart), (intense family situation), this too will pass, and the opera will change to ... change to ....
Jethro Tull. . Thick as a Brick. Been listening to it for days . S'cuse me? ...Thick as a Brick, and TAAB 2 is out, haven't listened yet, because of wounded soul turning operatic.
And wait! wait! There are bat channels (ah now I am wise! ) and the photo! my leather trousered charges to consider. .
Which I will.
After .
And I will return.

PS, I just went to the bat-channel. .
Skulls n' Roses hahah
Whoah, then to picture two. Now there's some stud muffins for whom this Honey Dear could risk the mud and mash of a festival.
I've gone all shy now.
Pretty pro looking outfit, Mister Bassfishmandude.
So, do these guys ever play South Devon or Brighton, that's what I want to know.
Goodnight ye all.

I, too, yearn for some good opera. I'll stick to offering up one of my favourite arias, the love song to the plane tree:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEO2Mfgo8qw
'Never was the shade of a vegetable more dear and gentle and loving.' (That's what the lyrics say.)
Can't say better than that.
Here it is again, with 4 voices including Michael Maniaci:

apologies, gentlefolk, i've just got back late from a practice - will reply tomorrow when back from work
"what a reason for waiting, and dreaming of dreams
so here's hoping you've faith in, impossible schemes..."
JT 1970?
sleep well, all

Now its Christmas, really Christmas, all the green and yellow dream lights came on ...
So much poetic wonder, have to go talk to my journal and stare at the spiders. . spiders? oh no! haha. Time to word paint my luminous delirium, until my senses cease to co-operate.
Hah yes JT Reason for Waiting.
This opera link, the Song to the Plane Tree, even with the funny translation, , made me melt in that way one does on the dream edge of no-words, with a lot of dots and in breaths and ......................

ssshhhh! ...hi guys, i've sneaked off whilst i'm meant to be editing & posting the practice recordings from this week (don't tell the bands i'm slacking**!)
i see you two have been busy following musical flights of fancy, and i'm not sure that a weekend is going to be long enough to play catch-up, given that i'll need to be AFK for distressingly large proportions of it :o(
i'll try and listen to some of these goodly links when i can
byefernow
** each of us in the 'other band' is in at least one other 'other band', two of us in the 'other band' are in the same other 'other band'
have i made that clear? if so, perhaps you could explain it to me!

well, that operatic singing is just plain showing off - having the menfolk singing higher than the woman! It's just not B.-natural!
impressive though, eh?
i managed to do some undercover work on Mr S Walker, of that ilk, and what an interesting path he started out on, even in the late '60s
very brave work, lots of influences - but fleeting
no danger of getting pigeon-holed - unless THAT is his niche
i listened to some tracks on YT, from Tilt & Drift - not enough samples for safety, but i found the Tilt sample to be more accessible (Buffalo turn around?) compared to the Drift offering (likened by one listener to "Radiohead appearing with Donald Duck")
...sounded more Darkwing Duck to me - very Dark!
starting to crumble at the edges here - need some more sleep - but before i go...
sorry Mrs Cafe, the furthest West which the 'Other band' have played is Dorchester & Portland, the furthest East was the folk & blues festie, in the Solent region
when i lived in Brighton i used to busk with a few of the regulars in the Lanes & North Laines, but that was a lifetime ago now - one of the more memorable ones used to set up his pitch along with his dog and a rabbit or two; i swear that those animals made more money than we ever did!
sorry to hear that you're going through trying times at the moment, i hope it all resolves quickly; sounds like a good cause for more hugs from Mr C!
oookay, that's it - i'm outta here before i fall asleep again, on the so.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................

ah the North Laine . We just got back from Brighton and are going there again soon. . The North Laine is an hallucinogenic shopping trip with pink velvet rabbit ears. .
Radiohead appearing with Donald Duck??? hmm. hurrumph. There is a kind of duck sound somewhere in amongst it all, mind you. Its really scary.
Radiohead. I love Radiohead. Love love love Radiohead. Good Morning Mr Magpie.
And finally,
here's the clue to my all time favourite band. Dmitri knows them because I sent him clips of them, with added sitar.
....
Incredible. (String Band)
If anyone is mean about the ISB I shall go away and eat a lot of marzipan and never speak again.

oh no - i just just missed you guys!!!!
i was in Brighton today, meeting one of my sons for lunch and going to the cinema with him
i asked him if he'd like to do some busking with me, when i visit sometime - he said he'd think about it
he's more diplomatic than i am
do you guys visit Brighton to give music workshops? can i come and heckle sometime?
i wouldn't describe myself as a musician (or a sonic artist) but i can heckle real good!
my musical education is sorely lacking: i've heard of the ISB but i'm not familiar with their work - sounds cool though (more homework for a-l-s!)
anyway, welcome back - no marzipan necessary!
