Hi Cactuscafé! I'm a huge Escher fan too. Can you understand the writing? Anyways, I think those words falling off and curling up and move around should be done as an animation ... I've seen some wonderful weird animations on DeviantArt, there's a person there who would be able to do something like that. Check out this little video of hers (actually a compilation of clips from animations she's made):

Hullo Willem! smiley - kiss I thought you might be an Escher fan, for some reason, like, he's a fellow artistic genius. smiley - artist heheh. No, I can't understand the writing, can you understand the Dutch? I think you might be able to.

I just love the word shapes, I live in a world of abstract word shapes, in fact that's what reading often is to me, smiley - rofl, text as graphics.

These animations are amazing!!! They remind me of the inside of my head! They keep me company and remind me of many things. Thanks for sending. I love the dialogue bubble, when the words turn into little clouds and fall out. Is that what I just saw? Must check again smiley - rofl.

Morning NaJo! Our time is nearly done. We have one last weekend together. (clutches brow). But 'we'll always have Paris.'

Is that a Casablanca misquote, the Paris line? Must check.

There is the classic Casablanca misquote which I've often been guilty of. 'Play it again, Sam' in fact should be 'Play it, Sam'. Which is much better anyway.

Ho hum, and yes. Do we have Black Friday sales here in the UK? Now we've moved to the city, I'm about to find out, in about half an hour's time. smiley - rofl.

My friend Xantief, from here on h2g2, lived in California, and he would delight me with his own brand of science fiction tales about the Blue Light aisles. The blue light indicating the best bargain aisles. I think. Mister D and Elektra might protest at my inaccurate detail.

I'm very inspired. Spending this month with my piano and other friends smiley - rofl has sent me quite bonkers, smiley - rofl and opened up a store of creative potential.

The echoes still live in the larder cupboard.

They do? Are they OK? Ah yes, they're doing fine, they're just echoes, they'll fade eventually. What do they sound like? hmm, well, voices from the past, my mother, childhood. The chord helps to free them. I think chords are a healing force. Sonic energy.

Well, that's alright then.

Byeee NaJo, better go take on Black Friday.

Hullo NaJo!

Just returned from my writing group. My Mental Mushroom Meditation piece went down quite well. smiley - rofl.

I won't print it all out, because it's the last thing anyone needs on a Saturday, or on any other day, in fact, but it's inspired by what I've been doing here.

It's about the curious fleeting images or phrases that pop up unannounced, in the subconscious mind.

Erm yes .... smiley - musicalnote ...

I kind of like the last paragraph though. Reads like this.

To me, the greatest gift, the highest learning that these fleeting visitations can offer me, is to remind me that I too am a transient creature.

For all their absurdity or vast insight or purpose, they themselves are the spirits of transience, they are not afraid.

They pop out of the dark earth of the subconscious mind, like mental mushrooms, have their curious moment of being, and then to their source they must return.

The chorus! Not the electric chorus facility of the piano, but that other harmonic chorus that can be heard somewhere between the eyes and the ears, echoing through the skull caves.

Might have to post last posting later tonight, aaaah so soon! so soon!as off early tomorrow to Brighton, so lappy laptop will be all packed up, and might not access good wifi on arrival.

Turquoise and lapis lazuli droplets. Mysterious gems. Lapis lazuli. I love these words.

A river of sonic energy runs through my veins, I should say a sonic tonic. haha. Here's to you, dear piano!

I don't deserve this Oscar, but I would like to thank the team who made all this possible, and ...

Oscar? What Oscar? OK, end of imaginary Oscar acceptance speech. smiley - rofl

Byeeee NaJo, and thanks for the memory.
