Saddness in the extreme
Reality Manipulator Posted Aug 14, 2009
There is the fear of bridges gephyrophobia and the fear of loud noises is called Ligyrophobia.
There is not a fear of mugglephobia, been frightened of people who don't have magical powers.
I thought Batophobia was the fear of bats but it's the fear of eights or being close to high buildings.

I tried to find the fear of being ordinary but it did not come in the search.

Book title: The Insanity of Normality: (Normality vs Autonomy)...(not much danger around here, thankfully). Normality as taking orders - real and implied - to fit in with the crowd - conformity as denial of yourself. Judicious mix of both needed (Heidegger), not just being conventional, e.g. you should drive on the left in the UK even though it's conforming.

Don't know the book but I sure do know the theme. There was a series of books by someone whose name I've forgotten (but her ideas were close to RD Laing's) on the same theme - the insanity of being 'normal' - a good few years ago.
