sorry but this one made me laugh. i remember working at a bookstore for a few years (the biggest chain in the country at the time, no mom and pop shop). one after another they caought someone with their hands in the till, but the REAL theft was the books that walked out the back door. same thing when i worked at kmart. the stupid ones take cash, the dangerous ones like the merchandise. invest in cameras and make sure everyone knows they are there.

There realy wasn't all that much merchandise for her to walk away with seeing as it is a restauraunt.

How stupid can a person be to take from the register? I'll be investing in a camera next summer. It's a seasonal business.

Even when I caught her putting the cash in her pocket she had the nerve to deny it. I wanted to have her arrested but my parents aren't handing the place over to me for a couple of years yet, so it wasn't my call. As I figure it she took about $2000.00 over the summer. That's probably aiming a bit high.........it's too bad she wasn't male. I probably would have broken her legs.

I understand the allure of theft. I've done it and I expect it. Making a try for the cash though is just idiotic.

well, i'm at a loss. i guess it's back to being nice to an old lady by not crippling the offspring she raised with no moral compass. in spanish the word used the way we use "naughty" is "malcreado," litteraly "ill raised" (i love it when mom calls me that because i respond that shes right, but who raised me?). i've always said i'd have more sympathy for someone who killed their parents instead of a stranger because the parents are the ones who craeated the monster and it's not the strangers fault they were crappy parents. ok, i'm on a rant. bad cookies, bad daughter, does this woman have ANY redeaming qualities?

Actually she's a very nice lady. She's raised two other well behaved and respectable children. It has a bit to do with the area that she lives in. Literaly you could say that she lives on the wrong side of the tracks.

Thankfully I don't have to deal with this stuff anymore because we just closed the restauraunt up about tho hours ago. *big sigh of relief*

Now I have to pack up my things and move back home.
