got further along in "The Masked Highwayman." Tempers fly an' approaching the near-wreck shop level of critical mass. Well, not quite yet. But the "}Whap!{ Owch you just got fish-slapped" part seems kinda funny.
Hi Mikey! Okay new idea...
Thorn Posted Aug 24, 2005
Have you seen any of my journal entries?
Am going to make a new one called something like "How do women work and why are they always so tricky?" I dunno. Maybe it's just 'cuz I'm a guy,-
, etc.
Hi Mikey! Okay new idea...

Hi, Mikey! I just wanted to drop you a note to say...
You've mentioned in your 2003 piece on Noel Streatfeild that two of her adult books were made into movies. Can you tell me which ones?
I've recently published an article about Movie Shoes (original title: The Painted Garden) and would be glad to tell you more about it.
All best,
Sally

Here's her IMDB page, which lists three total movies made from her writing -- one from Ballet Shoes, and two from her adult writing (Aunt Clara, and Welcome Mr. Washington):

What was your article about Movie Shoes for?
Hi, Mikey!

Did you see the Text-based rpg that .hack/nerd42 made? It really seems quite fun. I made a warlock/black arts mage character named Sharp.

Actually, you're not allowed to post your own pictures here, sorry! You can post them elsewhere and link to them, though, so that people can go and take a look, but they won't show up on your personal space.

Now there's an offer Mikey!
Ya know, at the age of 13, you might want to start saying please simple_life. It's unlikely that Mikey has a burning huge desire to help you with your maths homework, so you need to ask nicely; otherwise you'll get *a look*.

Hi, Mikey! I just wanted to drop you a note to say...i love your scrapbooking articles. hilarious, and i wonder if you have more thoughts on scrapbooking. i want to make a subversive scrapbook for my senior thesis project. well, the project is on subversive crafts, but i thought i would use scrapbooking as a medium. anyway. i liked your articles.

Hi there, teanutbutter! Yup, that was a fun article to write.
That definitely sounds like a fun senior thesis project. I have all sorts of random thoughts on scrapbooking, but I'm not in much of a random babbling mood at the moment. Any specific questions about scrapbooking?
hello!
teanutbutter Posted Feb 3, 2006
yes, i can certainly come up some questions! they may get a little profound so if you're not in the mood, just let me know you're not that kind of mikey.
1. do you make scrapbooks? 2. do you think scrapbooking is lame?
actually, you have a lot of information about the hobby so i assume you do make them but with a certain sense of humor or subversiveness, i suppose. 3. is that true?
4. what's your opinion on the commercial memorabilia available for scrapbooking?
here's what i hope: i can find a way to use scrapbooking as a way to demonstrate that *craft*, all crafts, may be considered low-art or women's work, but in 2006, they are often mediums for subversive messages and post-feminist ideas. i am a graphic design student at an art school in california and, well, "scrapbooking" is a dirty word 'round these parts. so my topic is "subversive crafts" but i've chosen scrapbooking (so far, unless it proves to be too much) as the craft to subvert. i wonder how possible it will be.
5. do you think scrapbooks have that potential?
dnaka!
