It took long enough for her to be acknowledged. This was very seminal work. Without which Watson and Crick would have never been able to get to DNA.

Fascinating indeed that Isabel Knagg's work also had applications to DNA. Very disappointing that she was another woman who was not given credit for her work at the time, but it is great that the internet can bring her story to the fore again.

I also found it interesting, because I studied crystallography at university for a while. Marjorie Seneschal's book was one I referred to very regularly http://books.google.co.uk/books/about/Quasicrystals_and_Geometry.html
