A flower always brightens up a day and greenery has a calming effect on the soul.If every community took your actions Britain would be a much better place.Keep up the good gardening workHave to go and catch up with the list of jobs to do in my garden now

Cheers!
Tha garden is doing well so far, we just need to get the organisation going for this years party. SHould be possible within a few months, when the sweetpeas are in flower.

A party in the garden ,the best kind especially if the sweetpeas are in bloom.
The weather here is rain, followed by more rain then hailstones so I have a lot to catch up on .It is just too wet to plant out.I live in Scotland and you cannot risk planting out the summer bedding plants until the first week in June,we still get frosts in May.
It always turns out in the end, when I can sit out and admire the beautiful plants and flowers. It makes all the hard work worth while and it keeps me fit

I don't know if it keeps me as I have such small spaces to garden that there isn't much digging to be done. I get to stretch a lot when watering things as there are so many hanging baskets and plants on walls to reach up to water. This year I've tried hanging basket sweet peas which look like they might flower soon if we have some sunshine. Can't wait.
I've sown a load of sweetpeas around fences by the community hall, but have pretty much left them to it and have no idea if they have germinated yet. Must go and have a look. I've also had some success with nasturshum seedlings coming up in the front yard which is a new flower to my garden and I'm hoping will do really well.
I might get out and do some soon, instead of sitting at the PC!
I'm also considering how to enter a 'biscuit tin' garden contest this weekend... very tiny plants, I suppose...

A biscuit tin garden competition I wonder what the prize for the winner would be
Nasturshams are nice but do seed madly so collect the seed before it falls on the ground or you will have them growing again next year.We have had very little sun until this week actually and everything is really growing slow due to the lack of heat. The vegetables in particular are really later than then should be but they will catch up in the end am sure
Watering is good excercise the watering cans are heavy when full and I too have lots of hanging baskets so I can sympathise with the stretching
Key: Complain about this post
