Bras
Tiger Posted Nov 14, 2000
Didn't any of you see the the programme on the dangers of underwired bras? They have been scientifically linked to breast cancer, and the research is opening up terrifying possibilities. Women in countries who do not wear bras have a significantly (and I mean significant!) lower incidence of breast cancer. I think that the choice is ... "My wonderbra makes men look at my tits, oh dear, now I have to have one removed if I want to stay alive" or "bouncy happy free free!"
Besides those bloody little pads in wonderbras always pop out at the most embarassing moments.
Who wants to live life in a padded cell? Ditch your brassiere, Mina and live forever.xxx

It seemed so natural for you hon.
I would ditch the bra Tiger, in the summer or when I go out I hardly wear one. But I have a job working with the public, and most of my collegues are men. I already have to put up with outrageous harrasment, I think bouncing around is not going to help. Especially at 3am when the taxi is full of drunk men.
And it's not very comfortable anyway.

What a shame, maybe wear some support then, but not too constricting under the arms...you know the hard panels in that area that they put in most bras? as for underwires...they are one of the main problems. Anyway your wires keep trying to escape dont they? Have you noticed that shops are now flogging wonderbras cheap since that info came out? If all this seems irrelevant to you, then the best way of keeping the bra intact is to stitch the corners of the bra where the wires are to keep them secure and to wash your bras folded up inside a sock so that they don't get too damaged in the washing machine drum.

I'll have to try washing them in a sock. I do sew the wires in eventually, I like my wonderbras. I have no cleavage without them.
I always get mine fairly cheap anyway as I get them from Matalan.
I bought about 3 more to replace the knackered ones, so I should look after them.
Thanks.

One of my "new" ones is now an old crappy one that's broken.
But any excuse to buy some more is ok with me atm.
