I absolutely did not post that link in your journal so that you could come over and feel like you were being attacked.
That really is not the idea of the PR discussion forum at all. I know that you care very deeply abou h2g2, and how PR works. I've seen the odd comment here and there by you and I thought that you might like to join in, you definitely have the knowledge and experience to really add to the discussion and answer some questions.
If you would prefer that I stay away from your convos, I will - it's a pity though, I like a lot of what you say and I think we'd get along well.

Absolutely not - I was pleased that you showed me the thread, and really don't think there was anything sinister in you posting the link.
You're right, I do care about h2g2, and was pleased to see the forum there as I've had some concerns myself about PR's 'image'. It's just unfortunate that I can't stop myself reacting, so it was better that I just buggered off for a while - it wasn't even one person that made me think leaving was the best idea - having two of them at it wasn't nice although I'm sure I've brought it on myself by my own actions in the past. 
I'm sure I'll be back by the end of the day - just wanted some space for ruffled feathers to smooth back again.

that's a relief.
It's no secret that I'm a friend of Annie's, and I know you two have a "history" so I just wanted to be sure you know that i had no hidden agenda.
anyway, I'll look forward to seeing what you say in the PR discussion - because it looks as though there are a few people with similar views and worries.

I've been back already.
As it happens, it wasn't Annie's comments that made me leave - although I made a big fuss about it last night because it came so out of the blue - it was something else that made me leave and I've let her know that.
It seems only fair to state it on site as well.
