hoping to clarify a little...

Hiya Rev. Nick;

I *think* that person you linked to on the "I believe" thread is somebody who has various multiple accounts on h2g2, has been harassing Ivan & appears to regard the site as a gay chatroom.

He has been disabused of this notion by ACES, h2g2 people in general & the BBC moderators.

There are many sites on the internet where he can find suitable places to play, but h2g2 isn't really one of them; not because he is apparently gay, not because he apparently has some problems of a dyslexic nature, but simply because he has misunderstood the nature of the site (if one is generous) or is exploiting it (if one is sceptical)

Hope this helps to clear up the confusion.

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear }

Hello to you, Terri. Naturally, I have seen you around the place. We have a number of friends in-common. Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I've chatted a bit with U564517 (and recently, U620371) for some little time. Both on h2g2 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F1730950?thread=1112095) and off. And I haven't seen any hints of that kind of behaviour. Mind you, I have proven to be a bit thick at times, and not seen apparent flaws in 'friends' that are obvious to so many others. What I have seen is a chap with some medical and emotional concerns, but who is quite content with his partner who lives at some distance. So when I saw in my friends list such an odd "tag", and it clearly indicates some problem with Ivan and Lil, I got curious. If either of them could steer me towards 2 or 3 threads where unseemly behaviour or nature has been exhibited, it might clarify things. If not, well then, I guess it'll just be another h2g2 mystery, eh? Again, thanks for stopping in, and trying to clarify stuff. Nick
