You seem to attract the weirder element of h2 don't you Nick
I find Fairy Dust to be a little sickly sweet for my liking Venus and it should definatly be made a Class A substance

Well you would wouldn't you? Because you think you are better than everyone else.

In that case I feel sorry for both of you.
No-one is better than anyone else.
Did you hear about that 'truant' wittering on about that woman. I hope the rest of the gang don't take it out on the elderly for ever more.
They haven't even been educated about environmental wheelie bins in some parts of the country yet, y'know.

... that's all very well, and reasonable from a point of view, but how would that influence the price of potatoes?
A Rev Nick Journal: Three years now ...
The_Apple_Woman...being conscientious & objective Posted Mar 29, 2007
I am not particulary interested in influencing the price of potatoes.
Is that what this conversation is about?
A Rev Nick Journal: Three years now ...
Sho - employed again! Posted Mar 29, 2007
quite reasonable right now (price of potatoes that is)
but I'm having trouble finding the large ones for baking
think I should try eBay?

You are all obviously just trying to wind me up so I'll leave and let you get on with it.
Bad luck to you, I'm sorry to say.

We don't seem to be having any problems finding Easter baskets or good sized baking potatoes. Now a fresh batch of turkey or chicken giblets, THERE is a real find. A delicious treat for me, and a base broth for milady to make a seriously wonderful soup.
Of course, if anyone wants some really good spuds, one of our provinces seems to be dedicated to them. Prince Edward Island. Now that my dehydrator is finished with drying out snow to mail to folks in the UK, I could make loads of spud-flakes ... Of course, for the proper taste, you need to rehydrate them with Canuck-water.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS Mrs A finally gets the hint
Wilija's are good baking spuds

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Mar 29, 2007
You've been around here, Reef. I expect that you know that just because Mrs A has left the room, that means little. Any of her 9 or 10 "extremely close" associates will still be dropping by. Stuff happens ...
So please, enlighten a foreigner ... what or who are these "Wilija" spuds?

Very similar to our "Yukon" spuds then, and indeed ideal for a slow-bake on a BBQ. Which reminds me, the weather is cleared enough that I should dig out the barby and fresh it up for the season.

So far, the weather is holding nicely. But Sunday may bring rain or even some sloppy snow-flurries.
