h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

To be honest, I can't remember if I created an introduction on my first PS the day I joined, or later? I think it was that day, a very simple "something-or-other". So I'll just go with the date of it's creation as my first day on h2g2. Hence, ... ... 3 years.

The past year has had some ups and downs. Here, some that seemed to be friends, later were not. And then, there have been quite a number of new friends, of such varied personalities, natures and worlds. Through it all, always some friends who have been there, through what-ever might happen in their worlds or mine. So on the whole, I'd have to say it was a pretty good year.

On the home front, the family flourishes with the addition of another grand-child. All in pretty good health and happiness. We both still have gainful full-time employment, so that we are not only useful and productive, we can manage to do things that we wish to. Earned by our own efforts. We've altered and updated innumerable things about the house and gardens. We travelled to visit distant family. We've even booked and paid for our travels about the UK and Ireland for our 20th anniversary. THAT will be an adventure and an experience, a once-in-a-lifetime affair, I expect. And the fact that we'll be able to meet up with a number of true and long-term hootoo friends will add to making it all so extra-special.

Anyway, today (give or take) begins a 4th year here. I can only wonder what changes and growth will happen during this one.

and , mate. It HAS been an interesting time, the personalities and circumstances that pass through this place. And folks being folks, I'm sure that it will remain entertaining for a lonnnnng time.

It is interesting here and you meet a wide variety of people thats for sure.

And indeed, hayayfi, you now have an easy date to remember. As I now have a working string of numbers. I really hope that your 29th birthday was a fabulously special one, and that you didn't go TOO bonkers, hunting out the hiding places.

I completely forgot mine last year, I do keep a tally of my years on Gateworld
