Hey, who knows? We're taking our 20th anniversary as a reason to see and visit as many parts of the UK (and Ireland) as possible. Maybe by our 25th, Sho will be in a position to direct us around Germany and it's neighbors?

As far as we know, most of my lineage comes from there.

I have found an 1851 Canadian census, and an 1861 ... That list the first "Nicholas" and his 4 sons having arrived from Prussia. Later stuff from hucksters, offering "Coat of Arms" and family-books ... There are many with my surname around parts of France, Austria, and mostly Germany. And taking a map from 1849 of "Prussia", over-laid with today's populace of my surname ... Pretty much the northwest of today's Germany.

Today, I simply cannot remember the town/city names that are most filled with people by my surname. I'm gonna have to find my map of Germany ...
