When all the dates and details are "ironed" out ... I expect it will be a separate journal. But as it's looking at the moment, ...
Mid-day of September 1st, we'll be at an airport of London. (Pick one ... based on rates, etc)
Around or about September 6th, we'll link our way to Wales.
Sometime around the 11th, we should find ourselves in the Dublin area ...
Coming back to the mainland might even drop us into Manchester for a day and a bit ...
Before our departing the UK on the 16th.

Hmmmm, the neighborhood, the city, the work-place and family of one friend. Who will also guide us around London to see the Tower, Buckingham, Westminster Abbey (milady loves the Royals) and the Kew Gardens. The next stop will include several sites and things in Cardiff, a Welsh History museum, a functioning manor from 350 years ago (in period dress and life) and a national park. I haven't been able to specifically iron out sites and stuff for the Dublin area, but I'm sure the Lady will find more than plenty to please us. And I think we'll just see what kind of tour of Manchester we can find, when we get there.
It's gonna be a busy time.

Mostly, in Manc, is two lads that I just want to meet, shake a hand, have a few brews with, and lie as men to. Any site-seeing is really incidental to that.

I have found that I can really enjoy an ale, a lager, a pilsener or a common beer. If they are well made. I'm sure that Flamestrike and "Lucifer" (as he was known before, he's now Sponge Rob ) will point me towards some fine stuff.

Pete and Rob have been mates since they were youths. They are a matched-set, so to speak. I know they will steer me totally wrong, and I'll be glad that my wife is there to get me back to where-ever we stay.
As to the London timings, we're hoping to squeeze what we can of the Royal stuff in to one day. A verger-led tour of the Abbey included. Kew IS a day unto itself.
And yep, a "Captain Pritchaed's" household, during the civil war, is the "Llancaiach Fawr Manor"
