If you like the sounds of adventure threads, just follow some of the conversation links on my page and read some of the backlog. Then if you can think of a creative way of explaining your presence, just join in. Remember the stuff about continuity, though.

Just went by your user space. From that and your message here, it looks like you are used to chat groups. You'll find that h2g2 is a bit different, though. Here, you can take as long as you like for typing your message, so you don't need the abbreviations. People still use some of them (like LOL, for instance), but mostly they type full words, with punctuation. When people write in ALL CAPS, IT IS INTERPRETED AS SHOUTING, so you may want to change your home space. Plus, using X's for periods is a bit confusing, since typing a "." isn't any more difficult than typing a "X".

Anyhow, h2g2 is a great place and I'm sure you'll like it.

well ive certainly been told off!Just kidding,.What it is ,is ive been using a chat site for about 2 years now,and I guess ive become a little lazy,Im really not stupid or anything ..HONEST..lol
Im sure ill soon get the hang of writing like an adult again!,but in the mean time please bear with me!

Sorry to hear your day was less than perfect. Here, have a loo brush
(A little explanation: a lot of people think that little flower looks like a loo brush, so it is a bit of a running joke. And since it was a Brit that first noticed the resemblance, it is a "loo" brush, rather than a "toilet" brush. Plus "loo brush" is somehow more comic than "toilet brush".)

Oh, and the loo brush smilie looks even more like a loo brush in the classic goo skin. To change to that skin (which looks more like something you would expect from the hitchhiker's guide), just go to your preferences screen and change skins there.

Hmmmmmmm loo brush, remember being called that many years ago after a very dodgy perm !
But thats another story..lol

And yeah i know you were trying to be helpful , I can be a little moody sometimes and was in one of my rather sarcastic ones..Sorry.
