Bobo energy, you say? Well, it does seem to respond to my, er, preparations. Pretty much all forms of energy reduce to the same sort of thing in the end, I suppose. Let me see.

I've noticed that you use ::'s to indicate actions, whereas most people use *'s. Is there a reason for that, or do you just like ::'s better?

Ah, I might have guessed. You know, I think I just might be getting the hang of this Bobo thing.

Actually, there is a section about my name on my home page. Basically, I invented it when I joined a web site that was all about ancient Rome. You could choose your first name, but had to choose a last name from a list. For my first name, I just used a romanization of my real first name: Gary. For the last name, I chose one that I liked and which had the same initial letter as my real last name. When I joined h2g2, I decided to keep using that name, and now (2.5 years later) I use that name all over the place.
