h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

GL, I`m trying to get a Pack togetrehr to combat the Cat menace on h2g2 ... there is justtoo many of them and it`s time to fight back. I know that you're a hero so I think this could be the thing for you. This will be a Rainbow Coalition kind of thing so you should know that you'll be rubbing shoulders with Big Bad Wolf if you decide to join (we hope you will).

I`ve gotten around to finishing THE DOG HOUSE which you can visit at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A601174. It`s a dogspace for all us canines on h2g2 and gives us one over the Cats.

There's only a few rules to observe - none of which should give you any trouble at all. If you'd like a job there are plenty to go around (give your imagination free rein).

One of the things that I'm planning on doing for us all is to keep an eye open for cat conversations on h2g2 and go and give them hell from a dog perspective. This should = lots of fun.

GL I have to tell you that War has now officially broken out between the h2g2 Dogs and the h2g2 Cats. As you know we have been trying to secretly recruit and train a Dog Army and have created the DOG HOUSE (http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A601174) which is our meeting place and command post.

Unfortunately our cover was blown today by a premature attack by Moondawg on a cat related conversation before our preparations were entirely completed and the Cats are now organising their defences - they have set up a Cat House (http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A601606) and are recruiting themselves.

You are badly needed as reinforcements for the Brotherhood of Dogs I urge you to do your duty now and join up . Your breed needs you.

Sorry - I was away on holiday last week. I'll check it out and let you know. It sounds fun, but may not be the thing for GL, but I'm sure Big Bad Werewolf will jump at the chance (you did know that BBW is also me, didn't you? He is my evil persona.)

Hi GL - yes I knew about you and BBW I just wasn`t sure which character you were playing at the time. Love to have you (and/or BBW) aboard - Moondawg has suggested that we upgrade the Trojan Cat (see the Cathouse Dog Attacks postings) with six-way power bucket leather seats, anti-lock brakes and cruise control and have another go. I suggest we add a few other surprises for the Pussies as well.

I`ll wait for BBW to show.
