I don't think I have seen Mr Titmarsh, but I have heard that he is not the most pleasing to the eye. Apparently though, he DOES known nearly all there is to know about horticulture.

Ah. Just not the ones that I know then. 
I did procure a couple of seasons of the BBC's "A Year At The Kew", and gifted a friend. She was especially pleased that he was the host, narrator, etc.
