Good morning !
I see you have the recipe for the most perfect and heavenly smoothie. Fruits, nuts, cereal.....mmmmm mmmmmm
Here's a favourite Banana Smoothie recipe....take...
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup/carton nonfat yogurt
1 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
1 tbsp banana liqueur (optional)
1 cube crushed ice
1 tsp. fresh lime juice
lime wedge or banana slice, for garnish
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a large glass and garnish with a lime wedge or banana slice. Serves 1.
Ron, on the other hand is a different kettle of fish altogether. Or, put another way, an old smoothie.
A flirt, flatterer, suave, funny, intelligent, knowledgeable.
Who knows what he's like in real life, but he sure can write a pretty line
Too early in the morning for me to say much more

Ah, that sounds great. You have a real blender and use it!
On the sink in the house of my family there stands one of these old fashioned-style American blenders. They never use it, though. Perhaps I could ask or it.
I don't have a blender. My machine is really a juice extractor. It does work like a centrifuge. It grinds and spins. The pulp remains inside the machine and the juice of the veggies and fruits is expelled by the force of the spinning.
So that's the other meaning of a 'smoothie'. Ron will be flattered.

I should steal the blender. Nobody will notice
Noo, maybe it's better to ask for it
Well, the other meaning of 'smoothie' is my own definition. I'm sure Ron with his customary flair could do something a lot better !
But, you get the drift and yes, he'll be pleased. Damn.

Yeah, I know what you mean. You think that's why they are smoothies? I take it you don't consider yourself to be one?
Right, let me check my empty agenda and see how busy I am today.
It is a friday, I believe. That means ...
walk the dog, walk the dog, walk the dog, and ... walk the

No, I don't consider myself to be a smoothie.
Don't know whether to laugh or cry at that!
Dogs. Where would we be without them. At least they get you out

Neither am I. Well, not in general. I can be suave, occassionally. Sometimes I write a pretty line, not too often. I would like to be sophisticated, but if so I hardly would have the chance to show it off. So what's the point of being a smoothie, I ask you.
True, dogs make good companions. Pity that it's really horrible weather today. It's hot, humid and overclouded. Everything feels sticky and dirty. We need some rain to cleanse the atmosphere.

Crept over and had a quick look to see who you were. I am no wiser, but, you do write a pretty line !
Today hot and sticky. Tonight ditto. My dog's exhausted and drained. Bit like me.
Sophistication has passed me by I'm afraid.
Enjoy the week-end

Same here.
Thank you. I hope you do not have to work and can enjoy some free days with this FANTASTIC weather! Blimey, it's marvelous.

Hello K !
Dog walking is definitely off the list today
So hot I feel as though I'm melting
Drinking plenty and definitely nothing with any alcohol in it.
Excluding the smoothies of course
I have work to do but can't face it today. Oh, and nothing yesterday either.
Suppose I'd best go back outside and fry

I've been packing today for a trip to France. (So, if you don't see me around anymore, you know where I am. I'll pop in occassionally for a quick 'hello')
Then I took the dog to the dyke near the seaside where she lay down in the water. After half an hour of full sunshine with no trees on the dyke for finding cover in the shade we struggled our way homewards dying for a drink of water. I'll better wait to late this evening for a good walk.

What a shame I missed you !
Bon voyage for your trip to France. It's a beautiful country.
It's cooler here and I'll take the dogs out shortly. Poor things, they just can't cope with this heat.
Lovely to have met you, K, speak to you whenever
Safe journey !

I'll miss you all already and think about you whenever I find the opportunity and the time. I think in France there's internet as well. So, I hope it won't be to long before I have to chance to chat with you again.
Ah, it's difficult to say goodbye. I've always had that ... Right, I'll better log of and check my checklist and ... and ....
Take care.

Four months later .... You really think so? Poor Ron ...
Now I'm BACK I'm going to pester him with more awkward questions
How's life, Chips? I'll check your PS later to see how busy you've been during my absence and how smooth your PS has come to look.
