Lil:
Don’t know if you’ve heard, but the History Channel is running a special on Billy the Kid this evening about 6:00pm CST. Thought you might be interested to compare notes with them.

This is a repeat of a pretty good documentary featuring my good friend Drew Gomber as one of the main talking heads.
He said that the adobe village in which the re-enactments are performed had, the previous week, been used as the set for a village somewhere in Iraq. Drew thought the boy who played Billy was likeable and concerned to get the part right, but that he couldn't ride a horse for sh*t, and Drew was sure he'd fall off when he made his famous escape. And in the bar scenes, the bartender and assorted extras were played by the producer and various staff respectively. Quite an eye-opener to get a behind-the-scenes description!

Well now, that sheds a whole different light on the production. I'll try to pop in and view it, just to bone up on the info. What did you think of the presentation when you saw it?
