Roses are so thorny, Kosh. Can't you make it into a nice bunch of sweet smelling lillies of the valley?

Lillies always remind me of funerals - crying people and pointless hysteria - shall we say daffodils then? I think they're rather cheerfull and so predictable - a calming confort in harrowing times.

Ah, funerals! A solemn incentive for a great social gathering with lots of happy people meeting old acquaintances and family, chatting over coffee and cake and later with the booze on the table the atmosphere becomes even more merrier and livelier. Please, do not blame those lovely sweet scented lillies for strange twisted outbursts of convention! Which reminds me, I've got to buy some bulbs and plant them before it's too late in the season
