I hope your Christmas was nice and relaxing and that your brood looked after you.

Ours was stressful right up to Christmas Eve then it got lovely and calm.

Now it's #1's birthday and her choice: stay at home all day and do nothing. As a result the Gruesomes are in their room doing goodness knows what (there's a chemistry set up there now so it could be anything), is... well, -ing and I'm sewing dresses that I wanted to finish before Christmas.

Don't worry, I know what it is like before Christmas - and the girls can write any time (and with some luck my daughter looks into her email account).
