Smoking

I've just seen the the Health Secretary John Reid's comment "let the poor smoke", surely it would be a better idea if they didn't smoke as it would save money?

A Random Idea

I was just wondering, why can't 16 year olds vote. Many of my friends (my friends and I are 17, and in college) think it would be a good idea as it would raise the number of people voting. It was just a conversation I had and I was wondering what other people thought.
