A joke shared by a philosophy professor I studied with last semester.
Well, seeing as this is my introductory page I guess I'd better start introducing. I am a 26 year old male, of course, from the east coast of the United States. I am currently a sophomore in college but still undeclared in a major. I love outdoors activities including kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, fishing, and road-tripping (they can't all be environmentally friendly). I hurt my knee about a month ago so I've been messing around on the internet and found this page, a tribute to one of my all time favorite pieces of writing!
I love the martial arts and have studied them for most of my life. I currently study Isshin-ryu Kara-te and Yoshitsune Jui-jitsu. I have also studied Koei-Kan Kara-te and Kodenkan Jui-jitsu. The weapons I'm working with are the Bo (or staff), the Nunchaku, and the Sai(my personal favorite).
I also love to study and discuss philosophy (particularly over a good beer).
I currently work in security a store nearby and am hoping to soon move to an undercover loss prevention position. There's nothing quite like slinking underneath a clothes rack to spy on someone as they attempt to chew through the packaging of a cell phone!Well, since i'm new right now I think I'll go explore the site.
