I just posted a comment to your entry about flower clocks which postulates that such clocks predate Linnaeus by about a hundred years. It isn't a theory built on a particularly strong evidential basis, but I think you might be interested in reading it and that it compliments the entry. Sorry for hassling you on your personal space, but I couldn't help noticing that you aren't subscribed to the entry itself

Oh, I didn't realise I wasn't subscribed to the Entry itself. (I've often wondered how we're suppopsed to know that someone has made a comment on one of our Entries. I suppose one has to make a comment on one's own Entry to get subscribed to it?
Anyway, for the comment.

You can subscribe to any entry on h2g2 - including personal spaces - by going to the bottom of it and clicking the link (in Brunel) 'Click here to be notified of new Conversations about this Guide Entry '. There's a similar link to unscribe. I like to subscribe to all my entries, as you never know when someone will comment on them.
Be careful which pages you subscribe to though: subscribing to Peer Review or Ask h2g2 will soon swamp your conversations list with threads.

Funny that I've been on hootoo for over a year, and been totally unaware of this tool. I've kept going back to my GE's to check if anyone's commented. for that
