sequestrate
/sikwestrayt, seekwi-/
• verb 1 take legal possession of (assets) until a debt has been paid or other claims have been met. 2 take forcible possession of; confiscate.
— DERIVATIVES sequestration noun sequestrator /seekwistraytr/ noun.
Would that be dumping of CO2 into the peat bogs or building of wind turbines on them?
I saw an advert on bbcworld for a place in china or hong kong called 'dontang' or something like that, where they talk about pumping the CO2 into huge cultivating vats where they would grow crops. This seems like a much better idea than simply dumping the stuff, as it recycles the gas. Furthermore, the crops could be used to create biofuel ~ ethanol. In the case of crops destined for life from a tank in the city to the tank of my car, I would be less woried the the gm strains (although I'm not keen on growing the stuff outdoors)
hmm... just thinking aloud ~ should give you some food for thought, being a gardener 'n all that, what do you think? I look forward to your work.
