A most Reverend greeting, my friend
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Started conversation Nov 20, 2004
We've shared time, chats and even ostracizations. But we've never had personal conflict.
So do call anytime. Here or the e-mails you have.

Hi Nick... How are you doing...
Sorry I haven't replied to this sooner. I am finding it really hard to get online at the moment..

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Nov 27, 2004
So I've heard from B'Elana. Your net access is quite restricted.
In any case, how's life, the job, what-ever place you finally found to live in, ... all of that? It's been ages, ya know.

Well life's ok... A lot better than it has been...
Work is tough and very demanding at them moment.. I can't wait till the christmas period is over.
The apartment is tiny, barely enough room to swing a cat but seeing as there is only me it works..
How about you...? How are you doing..?

Life goes along here. I'm in a different work-shop this past month. Repairing about 5-years of back-logged radio equipment. So the change and challenge is always welcome.
Tiny or nay, if the apartment is yours alone, that IS a fine thing to find, eh? Besides, cat-swinging went out years ago. I think I read somewhere 'badgers' are more in vogue.
With both of our families many, MANY hours and uncountable weather-zones away, I know we are going no-where for the holidays. Have you any plans, anything special?

Sponge Rob Squarepants Posted Dec 8, 2004
Sounds like a lot of fun...
Christmas, I have no plans... I usually spend Christmas either alone or with family but this year it will probably be alone..
Although Ena is coming to stay over the New Year so I am really looking forward to that..

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Dec 8, 2004
I've spent many a Christmas alone or working some odd shift. Not really great, but certainly not the end of the world, eh? Nice to hear that New Year's will be "cozier" for you though.
Anyway, mate, I'm expecting these bogged-down work servers to freeze me out of hootoo any minute. So I'll leave you with a and reminder that the same e-mails as ever still work quite nicely.

No probs my friend...
I can't really email from work. They monitor them and I got a slap on the wrist a bit ago for the emails I was sending B'El when she was in hospital..
But as soon as I get a free second I will get onto my hotmail account and send you some sort of harrassing email...

Of course, NONE of us professionals can use precious work time for personal e-mails. This is understood.
I'm braced, ... do your worst. & , mate.

Hi Nick...
How are you doing..?
Sorry I haven't been in touch in a while (I seem to say that a lot these days)
A most Reverend greeting, my friend
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Feb 16, 2005
No worries, I know you've been busy with work. And a varying social life which I see is good again. Happy for you, friend.
My life is about the normal. Work, limited hootoo time, diminishing friends here. Stuff happens, eh?
What's actually newer in your world?
A most Reverend greeting, my friend
Sponge Rob Squarepants Posted Feb 19, 2005
Yeah I know the feeling..
I just need the capital behind me to get back online at home and I could actually have a lot more time to do what I like..
Nothing especially new happening at the mo..
Same old Job
Same old Flat
Same.... Girlfriend
What about you... Anything new happening in sunny Canada....
A most Reverend greeting, my friend
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Feb 19, 2005
Alright, what "stuff" are you on? "Sunny"? Winter in Canada may be many things, but ....
In all, things aren't sounding too badly for you. And recent notes from Flamestrike indicate things are quite nice there as well. I won't dance and sing about, simply say that I am quite happy for the bunch of you.
Soon, my working Saturday will begin. A good over-all house-cleaning, maybe time to add a network card to the PC for the wife's new-to-us note-book and internet connections, and then a recently seperated Mom-of-3-girls in for dinner. Whooo hooo, don't I know how to have fun?

Sounds like you had a busy weekend...
And all I did was chill out at home and then go out with FS and some other friends for a meal and drinks...

Yesterday was frightening !!! I tried a tweak or two to share the internet with a used note-book I found for milady. And broke our internet connection entirely !!! Almost 11 hours without that life-thread to the WORLD

Out of sheer frustration, I did go and have a nap.
Utlimately, I got the note-book going with dial-up and hunted Microsoft. Out of 20 or so possible fixes, the 3rd one did the job. Apparently, not a completely uncommon problem, eh?
A most Reverend greeting, my friend
Sponge Rob Squarepants Posted Feb 21, 2005
Obviously not....
And at least you didn't try all 20 fixes only for it to tell you they can't find a problem... Damn microsoft...

I had a few more choice and colourful words for them, of that you can be certain.
What's doing in your world today? I've taken a "sick-day", but will have to move some snow. About 15 cm or so .....
