She knew you were there! There is a code which shows who has you on their friends list... I use it too! It is amazing how many people I found had paid me the compliment of adding me to their listings, so I returned the compliment and informed them I had at the same time!!

That is NOT lurking!

Lurkers delve into the files and can make sly comments or just keep appearing in the same threads... not quite stalking, but can feel uncomfortable I suppose

Some lurkers, like us (?) only do it when they are trying to find out about a new friend.. nothing creepy intended! But occasionally we can fall foul of hootoo etiquette through our own ignorance as newbies. Then a full apology might be in order!

Basically, think of it as your own front door.... would you expect an acquaintance to just walk in... open your private papers and read them out loud to you in your living room or shout it out for your neighbours to hear? Keep this in mind and you won't go far wrong

How you come across you friends is immaterial! Just let them know you would like to be a friend

I understand about the difference between lurking and curious. But as I had, uninvited, stepped a rather personal lady-problem-zone, I ought to be a bit more proper about things. A bit about me: I NEVER want to knowingly or accidentally upset or offend people. So I prefer to err on the side of extra-polite.

So, what are you up to and about today? Lady and I will probably be spending a good bit of time in the yard preparing lawns and flower-beds for season. (Property is 66 feet by 105, roughly 20 m by 35 m).
