The Sloth Griffin
Grith Sloffin is diminutive in all but volume, talks to herself and is a renowned Housework Avoidance Strategist. She also studies Classics and philosophy in a semi part-time way.Since she has never met a chocolate that she didn't like -- no, not even the hard toffee centres -- she owns a small potbelly called Munchkin and a large bottle of 'Gaviscon Advance'.
From earliest childhood she has had a thing for Sherlock Holmes and a compulsion to leave her shoes facing North in perfect alignment with each other.
Never having mastered automobiles she is content to drive people up the wall from the comfort of her own armchair, which is also where she does most of her reading -- she likes to read, a lot.
Her husband looks remarkably like Mr Bean, sounds like Marvin the Paranoid Android and has the temperament of Victor Meldrew. He has a thing for Bach and Trollope, and wears a deerstalker.
Together, they drink a lot of tea and manage two small children, but Grith Sloffin's main aim in life is to sleep longer, and better, than anyone else.
She keeps a journal, Assassin's Cloak, which is probably the best place to go if you want to know more about her. Though she can't imagine why you might want to -- she's very far from interesting.
