Goot to hear u had a joyous time...but this snow needs to go somewhere...might as well go north as the ppl in Kansas and Colorado can't cope w/ it. You guys have better coping mechanism w/ snow than they do...uffda. Suppose to rain later today and maybe snow tomarrow...ugh. I wanna run away til spring. Take care. Uffdamdaida

Send all of the snow to Quebec. They pride themselves on being a winter wonderland, and I'm not too fussy about their constant demands either.

I do know what a sudden introduction of ice to anatomy feels like ... for days after. Do try to take it slow and easy, please?
And for me, no thank you to the idea of skating. I haven't been on any kind of them for over 35 years now.

We also had had quite an Arctic blast come through here today. Having the temps drop 20 degrees over night IS quite a shock to the system.
I just hope the arrival of true winter doesn't hurt our perennial flowers and shrubbery ... That was silly enough to think it was spring-time, and beginning to produce new growth.

I once knew a chap named Jack Frost. Believe me, he was so ugly, you'd not want him anywhere near your nose.

When the movie Santa Clause 3 comes out watch it, Jack Frost is in it. Plays kinda a nemesis. Have you seen pics of Southern US? They don't usually get much snow and the ice is really bad in Oklahoma...uffda. Still cold here but suppose to warm up a lil. Have a goot day. Uffdamaida

I've seen the commercials for The Claus(e) III. We'll look for them next year ...
I've seen that the west and south are really taking a weather beating. We are starting to get some of it.
Almost February:)

Wow, Hard to belive a week from Thursday will be the 1st of Feb. Do you celebrate Ground Hogs Day? Even though the prediction isn't always so, it is kinda fun to hear the prediction. It is nice that we have thawed out some but still ice around. It would be nice iffin it would start meltingNothing really new here. I went to an AA convention since I go to Al-anon. It wasn't very far from here. A week ago we went bowling and although I was still hurting from falling on the ice, we all had fun as a family. Nice having bumper pads up so u get a better score. Have a great week and stay well. Peace. Uffdamaida

Here, Ground Hog Day is met in several zones, with their own prognositicator. Near where I grew, there is "Wiarton Willie", an albino groundhog. I am in Nova Scotia this week, and about 25 miles from me is "Shubenacadie Sam". I forget the name of the lad in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
And in Newfoundland, my daughter gets a great laugh every year. Her half-sister, (same Mom, different Dad) was born February 2nd. And always gets hit with the groundhog jokes.
It's really nice to hear that you all had a fine family time. As I said, I am out of town, but we have a couple of social items for shortly after I return. And any day now, my daughter should be delivering grand-baby #4. To all indications, a very large and strong girl !!!
If you are interested, I have a link on my introduction page here. (click on my name) The link with take you to some pics of my family, my home and my life.
Already well into March !!!
