Hi Shea,
I subscribed to the site about two years ago, and never really got the hang of it. Well, now I'm back (older and wiser) and I thought that you would be a good person to talk to because you were the ACE that greeted me such a long time ago. Basically, I just need a little guidance. I want to join clubs, and get more involved within the community. I would welcome any advice that you might have, and you can view my personal space if that helps.

Hi Pirks! Nice to see you again!
I made a page of links that you might like to check out. It's at: A534953
I put lots of clubs and interesting places on it.
Another place to try is The Post's Links Page at: A660304
Both of these places have lots of links to clubs and things. Click on a few of them, and read a bit. If you find one you like, just post there and say hello. I'm sure you'll be welcomed, and after posting a bit (or not waiting at all!), you might want to join the club.
Another place to check out is Ask the h2g2 Community at: A148907
That's got a bunch of interesting questions people have asked the Community here, and are a lot of fun to read, and if you spot something that interests you, feel free to chime in. You might have a question of your own that's been plaguing you. That's also a great way to meet people.
I think you've found a great way of meeting people though. You're not afraid to pop here and talk to me, and that's a great start! I visited your Space, and noticed that you tried to join the Procastinators. Don't be surprised if it takes a while for them to get back to you. They tend to put things off around there!
