Have you looked into the Assassin's Guild? That is an RPG, and a serious one.

You would need to control your players in a serious RPG.. after all, you don't want to obliterate everything in the first week, with an online war or anything like that!


Or you could just create a zany place to hang out, like Anole's Dragon House, or Masters of the Multiverse

Runescape is one of the largest RPG games on the net. It's big. Bigger than big, it's massive. Think of a big thing, the biggest thing ever. Runescape is bigger.

A fantasy adventure where you train to become expert in a huge range of different skills which you utilise in trading with others, solving problems and fighting dragons and suchlike. It is quite educational. For example, you have to learn how to use a sextant and navigate. Chemistry comes into it too as you have to work things out.

For example, you find yourself in a room with vials of chemicals: cupric sulphate, sodium chloride, acetic acid, gypsum, cupric ore powder and tin powder. You also have a spade and a bunsen burner. The room has a door with a hole for a handle, but no handle. Burn the handle off the spade with a bunsen burner to try to open the door. But the shaft of the spade is too small. Mix the cupric sulphate, sodium chloride and acetic acid and a mystery liquid in a vial. This heats up. Immerse the metal part of the spade into the vial so it expands to exactly fit the hole in a door to make a handle. You are now in another room with a locked door. Using the gypsum, make a mould for a key, (the original is hanging from a chain that doesn't reach the door). Mix the tin powder & the cupric ore powder into the mould, heat over the bunsen burner to make a new key. That is a novice level puzzle

It is constantly expanding with new "worlds" being added daily, so it is literally a game without end.

Can I add that I have *never* played the game or looked at it. Mrs SWL & her son play it constantly. I sit bewildered at conversations like "Do you know where I can find a dragon scale shield cos I lost mine and a pickpocket stole my trading sticks" Mrs SWL is at a level of 107 or something, whatever that is.

But.... but... but...


I get lost and confused on the Net!.. To be honest, I get lost and confused in Hootoo!!!!


EvilClaw tried to teach me one of those games, and I became zombie within hours!

you have to go threw training first
then you do the real thing
