Changing my nickname
Posted Nov 22, 1999
I've been irritated by my nickname for quite a while as I do not pronouce Micros**t by putting "hi", "no" or "of" in the **. This means my nic is unpronouncable. Olli put up a picture of Psyduck up on his page to represent me and I've decided to take on its nic. This isn't final but might be.

What is a foreigner and can pure Britons exist?
Posted Nov 17, 1999
I was expressing a political opinion (claiming Wee Willie was not ready for government) when I was told that my political opinion does not count as I am 'Foreign'. I was born in Israel but have lived here for three quarters of my life - over twelve years. Am I still a foreigner? Should I be deported? Can I consider myself British yet? (I use Irony extremely often, frequently complain about the weather and am paranoid about personal space) If the fabulous BNP get elected (a forseeable prospect within my lifetime), who should be "helped back home"? After all, aren't all Britons foreign? - Either Angles, Normans, Saxons, Dane, Roman or some other strange mix? Or is a Briton one who was born on good British soil? I find it necessary to express my opinions and want to understand why I should be stopped.

Millenium Dome PR makeover
Posted Nov 16, 1999
I think the Millenium Dome ticket sales are not doing well because of its eerie y2k bug evoking name. The name "Mandy's Dome of Wonder" seems much more suitable and should attract more mindless Brits. Afterall, was it not the great Mandy, our beloved Pete that envisoned this great lightening earther?

30th Century Fox
Posted Nov 16, 1999
Have you seen the new Fox clip? Is it a joke or have they decided to jump the gun and rename the company to something that will last them for the whole millenium? (Do they really expect to last that long?)

Campaign against soundbites
Posted Nov 16, 1999
I've decided to start a campaign against soundbites. This was provoked by my facination in what William Hauge, our beloved leader of the New Thatcherite Party in Britain, means by "Common-Sense Revolution" and why Blair keeps going on about "Forces of conservatism" when he actually means to say 'bloody socialists'.
I have decided to do a street survey with a friend (Olli San - U96637) to find out if anyone actually understands what "Common-Sense Revolution" means or what they think it might mean. Once a questioneer is developed it will be linked to/posted on this h2g2 page as well as http://unfold.com - my website. Anyone is welcomed to help conduct the survey by questioning others or just filling in one form.
End of Transmission.
