Hiya! Just saw you pop up in the Sophie Dawes thread, and I don't want to derail it, so I've come over to your place.

How's the house going? Have you got it ship shape yet? We are mostly there with ours. Had some new windows fitted last week. Just need curtains and carpet for the back room now, and I think we'll be done.

Well, actually, there's loads of other stuff that we could change, and probably will eventually, but nothing that really needs changing right now, if you see what I mean.

Hi Geggs!

Nice to hear from you. We are currently finishing off decorating two of the bedrooms, we have carpets arriving for them on Monday. Then we can rebuild our wardrobes!

Hubby wants to change the fire and surround in the lounge, so we will leave that room until after Christmas.

The kitchen needs a complete revamp - 60 year old cupboards need ripping out, electrics rewiring, all before we can get it measured up for new units

All the boxes have now been shoved into the small bedroom - with just enough space for me to get to the pc

Since we last chatted, dad has put in an offer, and been accepted, for a bungalow which backs fairly close onto our side garden fence-line! Looks like he could be moving around Christmas! He's agreed a price on his current home.

So, after this weekend I shall be downing tools and taking a rest

Isn't it nice when you can finally say 'I'm Home!'
