But they are there and can be downloaded?

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 5, 1999
They appear to be THERE, but clicking on them doesn't give me a download. I'm getting a link, but it's not really acting like a link to a file... I'm not sure what's wrong, it may very well be on my end.

Hey Irv, I just had a brainwave.
Why don't you visit http://saturn.spaceports.com/~holydunc
and RIGHT CLICK on one of the files, choose SAVE TARGET AS, and that way you'll have the file on your hard drive so you can use or download a program to listen to it with.

I will go. I will save. I will try new programs until one works. But I simply refuse to right click anything! I've got a mouse with ONE button and ONE button is all I need! I don't need to do all this fancy schmancy right click left click aerobics! So there!

BTW-- I never read the book all the way, I never saw the play all the way, but my highschool drama teacher thought I'd be I great Jean Valjean (he never did the show, though)

Irving - The book had me in tears by the end - not an easy task for a piece of literature, I assure you! Check out the movie with Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush as Valjean and Javert. I think you'll really enjoy it!
Saffire - Which cast do you have? I wore out my tape of the Broadway cast, it was so good! One of my favorite musicals!

When my highschool freshman english teacher plunked the abridged version down in front of us, my first reaction was "that's the ABRIDGED version???" I'd also realized by then that to pass the class it was not necissary to read, rather it was more productive to listen to the class discussion, watch the film she showed us (the old b&w) and write the essay based on all of that (I got a B ) I realize that it's very emotional, but I just had alot of trouble getting into it...

Does anything mean anything?
There's not much meaning in the universe, so why bother pondering the meaning found in such a meaningless name?
Well then, I guess you could consider it as a sort of an existential statement concerning the meaninglessness of names (and the universe). But then if you delve to deeply into that, you'd find meaning in the statement, causing a nice little paradox.
What's Irving Washington wearing now?
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 8, 1999
Of course your statement of the paradox's existance would imply that that was some sort of meaning. Names are meaningful only in that they are something to call someone so that you always know who you are talking to. However, your name defeats the purpose of names in that sense. You've challenged us to find meaning in a meaningless name and in so doing created a meaning for your name... you are an unintentional statement, you would be a perfect character in a play by Samuel Beckett or Eugene Ionesco. You would die at the end, but you would be a good character
