A little about me

I am famous among my friends and co-workers for my conversational tangents. Fasten your seat belt. I feel that the best way to describe your musical tastes is to put your money where your mouth is. I mean to list the artists that you have spent the most money on buying albums (whether you bought the album, the media to copy it from your friends, or the electronic media space to store downloaded music). First to clear up on thing; by albums, I mean a collection of songs. I want to start a grass roots effort to get all of the radio and tv "jockeys" and the rest of us civilians to stop saying things like, "That was Born Free by the Bouncing Souls on their latest CD ..." ARRRRRGH. Lets get one thing straight; Vinyl 45's and LP's are Records, cassette tapes are Tapes, compact discs are CD's. Artists release Albums or Singles. Let's start making sense with our conversations. Welcome back from my tangent (would you believe that I'm an Introvert?) But I digress.
My favorites are: The Who, The Cars, Lyle Lovett, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, They Might Be Giants (although the last time I saw them in concert they screamed like foul mouthed punks when a girl crashed the stage to show her affection = They Might Be Wimps), 2nd tangent if you are keeping track; back to the list -> Talking Heads, Timbuk 3, Pink Floyd, Phish, Joe Jackson, The Tubes and Split Enz, top the list.
I would like to see what readers think about my list, what they think I do for Beer money, and what their lists look like.
