The novel began its first draft sixteen months ago. Given only a few hours a week for it, I gave it two years. On the second draft, I have this weekend just wrapped up chapter 5 which is the mountain of the middle section and brings me toward the end.
The feeling is like lying on the floor at the end of a wrestling match.
I have said before what we write/act/draw is chuck-outs from the warehouse in the head and of course this story was a matter of 'working through issues' AREN'T THEY ALL.
My domestic life is in upheaval now, this weekend, on completing the reconstruction of chapter five. There is no such thing as co-incidence, no such thing at all.

Good luck with the book, sounds an awesome task. that and a family life? i want to know how you do it. i have just found you ;and wild dazzling lucinda, so i am feeling very happy. i hope you remember me from the poetry board, anipani. i am missing loads of you a;t the moment, it is all change, feels like i have been abandoned! hope to keep in touch.
