Eclipsed Bucket Photos!

Post 21

BlurbVurt

There I was reading this article in the local paper about some poor guy who'd listened
to a neighbours advice re: the photographing of the eclipse using the bucket method (Yeah Right!)
So, what developed?
36 photo's of a rather atractive red bucket in various stages of light deterioration-
Not one with the reflected image of the sun on the water.
Definately a photo-album to pull out and show to the descendants. -

I expect he'd rather kick the bucket.

Hehehe...I took pics when the moon covered the sun and the corona could be seen. I guess it`s just a tiny tiny white ring on a black picture but who cares.

We care, Aroha! Could you put your picture on your home page for us to see?
Perhaps we could also have a picture of a bucket...

being kicked.

Has anyone tried creating the document in word with an attachment (photo)
and then cutting and pasting into the guide?

Can you fit your head on a flatbed scanner?

To display pictures on a page you need to have the picture stored somewhere on the WWW, suppose it was a picture called bruce, jpg & it was stored at www.myhomepage.com. The to display it on a user page (you cant put pics in forums or journals) you simply type the line & voila ppicture on your page.

Ignore that last comment. The old grey matter isn't paying much attention to what it's reading at the moment.
Must be that Friday afternoon feeling. Either that or it's my own fault for sticking my nose into a place where it doesn't belong. Theres alot of light that eminates from a flat bed-scanner.- Maybe I should visit the eye-infirmary - God! This is worse than the Solar Eclipse.

Ahm...I`ve got a page with a photo album (PhotoLoft or whatever)...is this going to work when I try to get a solar eclipse pic to h2g2 after placing it there?

By the way: I guess they lost my eclipse photos. They haven`t had them developed yet when I went to the store today. Duh. I hope I`ll get them back...

If all else fails Aroha you can use sticky tape and put the picture in the middle of your screen and tell us what it looks like.

I always liked the one about the complaint that the cup tray wouldn't work any more. When they asked enough questions they realised the guy was describing the CD rom carrier!

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the Snowpake off my screen? My spelling's getting worse!

Hehehe...I`m working for an Internet Service Provider. My dad just called and wanted to know what comes after "http". So I told him that it`s : and two of //. He paused and said "Are you sure?"
I`m flattered by this great amount of trust he`s got in me. lol

Parents are often like that.
BTW Do you call http:// happytap? I hear that that is becoming the favoured expression.
