Lucky lucky me! Given a choice between problems in the lungs or problems in the cranium and associated areas - well, I'll take the bung lung any day.
Are you still on any medication or anything, or required to rest, or are you completely back in the world?

I had several nursey types looking after me, and one of them was a rather dishy young man, so I didn't mind at all . Good luck with yours...

I used to have a nursey girl visiting when I was *recovering* from a couple of years of stupidness, she was purty and there was this nice girly at the hospital too, but you should have seen the guy who appeared on my last day why on my last day! well, dreaming about the nurses helped pass all that time in the hospital

Actually, this time it was the who got my attention. Tall, dark, softly-spoken, broad-shouldered... He took my blood so gently, too. No bruise!

It's just one of life's little jokes. Once upon a time I'd spent three years in the same office, bored out of my mind, and two days before I finished the job they recruited the most gorgeous and witty man...

It could be worse - we could be surrounded only by completely unappealing individuals, at all times...

Which was, in fact, the situation I faced yesterday. Ghastly office party... *mutters* Now I have sunburn, and the memory of a dreadfully dull afternoon.
How are you?

Sorry I could SWEAR I replied to that I'm not too bad, still sick and all but better than I was Woohoo!
The chances of me getting sunburn here are....... well about the same as the chances of me going for a swim in the see right now more likely frostbite or something yeouch I'm turning blue!
I hate office parties, I only go so I can mock them later

You are lucky, to have tabs with interesting side-effects... Mine had a few side-effects, but the sort that's best left unmentioned.
I expect I'll hear all about the second half of the office party tomorrow. It will be good, knowing who turned into a prat in the course of the afternoon and evening.

oh it will be
My favourite tabs are these ones *shakes packet* they make me feel stoned but those ones *points* send me to sleep I hate those, and those ones *points* make me feel sick

The only ones that make me feel stoned are the mega-strong painkillers I have for sciatica. Paracetemol and codeine, and who knows what else, all packed into bright yellow lumps. They knock me silly, and I have to warn my colleagues that I'm on them. Once upon a time Dad had pills that made him feel sick, so they gave him anti-nausea pills as well. Is that worth looking into?

My personal favourite is the set of pills that all need to be taken under different conditions. Pill 1 - take 4 times a day, with food. Pill 2 - take 3 times a day on an empty stomach. Pill 3 - take twice a day, but not within an hour of taking any other medication. You get the idea.

I recognise this well when were the blue ones again were they an hour before or after the green ones wait where are the red ones

Ivan the Terribly Average Posted Dec 7, 2004
Red ones! Do they make you go faster?
I'm down to two pills a day - one's only an antihistamine, and the other's an antidepressant. Th first one I'll be off soon, once all the pollen's settled, and the other I'll have for a few months yet. This is a lot easier to handle than the five types of pill I had a few weeks ago.
Key: Complain about this post
