An all-nighter I define as staying awake till bedtime the next night - or at least that was my kids' definition.

Staying awake all night, then school, then recalling the night with friends - and then to bed. Maybe.

There's a Paradise meadow up on Mt. Rainier (WA, USA) - I visited there some time ago and it was lovely indeed, albeit very foggy.

Apparently there's also a town called Hell, in Michigan. I once met a guy from Michigan who said he had a picture of himself next to the town sign on a snowy day (it snows a lot around there, after all), to show to girls who attempt the 'when Hell freezes over' rejection line.

That reminds me - I must do a 'silly place names' journal sometime...
