I have to confess I don't really know much about them but am always willing to learn.

Hello! To be honest, I've got no idea what the real plural of "moose" is! I suspect it'll just be "moose" (i.e. I saw several moose on the road)! But Meece is a much better word! My girlfriend has a very complex theory that goes as follows...
1 moose = a moose
a group of moose = several Meece
several groups of moose = several Meeces
I'm sure there's more but I can't remember at the moment!
I think the same rule applies for Geese as well!

I am sure she is right - I live in Devon and the farmers here keep lots of Geeses. And we all know that Tom Cat hates meeses to pieces. Isn't English a stoopid language?
