Hello.... I just wanted to introduce myself to you, a fellow Appalachian. I've poked about your articles on PA & they're very nice. I'll probably write a few things in the near future about PA.... You'll probably want to edit them & such, as I'm not a very good writer.... Anyway.... Nice work! See ya around!

Hey Josh! Welcome to h2g2! 
I see you've already been 'officially' welcomed by an ACE so I'll spare you some of the gory bits. The whole site as you might have guessed is devoted to creating Douglas Adams' vision of a Hitchhiker's Guide to Earth so anything you write will be most welcome.
I'd be happy to look over your writing, but honestly reading the Writing Guidelines (A53209) is always a good place to start if you want to write an entry for inclusion in the Edited Guide. There are loads of handy and helpful links from there including a link to the writing workshop where you can get feedback from the whole h2g2 community on your piece.
For an idea on the tone of EG entries, do check the front page of the site often - I've bookmarked it and it's the first thing I read every time I visit the site.
