Thanks for your reply. The Bruderhof were forced to leave Germany in the Nazi era. They were/are a group of intellectual Christians who live in self supporting communities.They are anti war and anti Death penalty. After the dispersal from Germany they set up communities in USA, one in Sussex, England and one in Australia.`
I must apologise for my use of slang! It suddenly dawned on me that the word "mob" can be constued in USA as meaning the Mafia!`
