Hi Jimi,
I've just become a sub-ed (hurrah) and your entry was in my first batch. I noticed you have your fingers in quite a few pies, so I thought I'd do your entry first. Also it didn't take much work - just a couple of adjustments here and there which I hope you agree with! One question - what is a bake sale?

A bake sale is when a usually nonprofit organization raises a few pennies and dollars by selling donated baked goods.
Any other questions just give a shout.

Run for the Ribbon Links?
Jimi X Posted Jun 12, 2002
One more thing...
Could you add in some links to other Edited Entries?
- A204319 Running
- A539598 Pennsylvania
- A134957 Students
And perhaps
- A180226 Parenthood
- A403147 Unusual Sports
I don't know why I didn't add any links into the original entry.
I'm usually much better than that. I like to see lots of links to the Edited Guide because it's important to show that interconnectedness of all things.
Anyway, feel free to do any or none!

Run for the Ribbon Links?

Hi Jimi,
I've added the first three links, but couldn't find a way of fitting the other two in. I reckon that's done.

Hi Jimi,
It's me again. This time I'm having a butcher's at your entry on the plague. Nasty business. But it looks like the entry's in pretty good shape, so I probably won't have to do much. Still, give us a shout if you have any further comments.

Lucky you...
I tried not to get too in-depth. Just a down and dirty look at the plague.
If you've got any questions, do give me a shout!

The Plague
Researcher 188007 Posted Dec 17, 2002
Hmmm, I've been thinking about this, and I reckon I might have to change the title somewhat. With the current title, I would expect a fair go at the history of the plague, its origins over here in Asia, its terrible effects on the world's population during major outbreaks, and perhaps mention of the nursery rhyme "Ring-a-Ring-o'-Roses". The plague had some sort of emotional impact on me when I was a kid, 6 centuries later!
So perhaps I'll change the title to 'What is the Plague?' or 'The Plague - a Brief Description', something like that.
Hope that's OK with you.
Jack
The Plague

If I were to pick, I'd go with the second one.
Of course, one could argue that a history of the plague could be called 'The Plague - A History'...

OK Jimi,
I reckon I've finished. I've made quite a few changes - added a little history, engineered a link to the excellent nursery rhymes entry A288966 and 'de-Americanised' the content a little. Since this is a global website and everything
I hope you're OK with the changes - if not, scream and shout. If you are, I'll hit the button without further ado.

Looks good to me...
I reckon this overview entry will only spark a lot of community controversy over its lack of a definitive history.
What can you do?
Send it back to those Towers my good man. Good job!
