Well, I'm Back

After a long abscence, I have returned. Slightly more jaded, slightly less bubbly with joy, but wiser and older. We'll see what that gets me in the end. For now, that is all as I am having limited time before I go to have my head shrunk.

Secondtry.

I must remember not to hit enter or this will go flying off into the far and away. Or maybe I can...
Well look at that. Oh well. Guess I was wrong.

One thing that really gets my goat, and maybe even my wombats is the fact that the US spends so much on the Military. Why don't they spend their billions on schools or helping to reduce poverty and homelesness. I lived in Senegal for six years and have seen a lot of it. I know that you can't fix everything, but you can help. Oh well, just my ravings. Another thing that bothers me is that the US expects to send people into a war and not lose any of their own, but it's okay to kill as many of the "bad guys" as you want. Go figure that one. Another thing that bothers the small gnomes as well as me is the general stupidity of the human race. Look at Kashimir! And Kosovo! And the Casamance! And all the other places where people are killing eachother just because. As if life isn't short and hard enough! Give it a break and maybe try living together and cooperating for once. Put down your guns and help eachother out. Try it yourself. Help out someone near you next time you can. If the chance doesn't present itself, go find one! Go out of your way to help someone today! Do something you wouldn't usually do and see how much better you'll feel for having done it! Make it your goal to do something nice everyday. Do two or three things. Do a dozen. Just do something! Life isn't easy, but making it harder by being mean and nasty and quarrelsome doesn't help it.

Just a thought.
