Afraid i've not heard of her, and like you I was amazed at the quality of out local talent, just normal guys who work locally and popped into the pub for a pint and joined into the session.. we also have an up and coming young guitarist, who we all agreed at 15 yrs old has a place mapped out in the rock world.. if, of course the talent scouts ever hear him...

Ah, thats good to know, sam luv...I'm from Canada, western Canada, so you're about 7 hours ahead of us (timewise).

yes it's 8.15pm here, and although i've never been to Canada, I have visited relatives in Homer, Alaska.. the scenery was stunning on a very grand scale in comparison to Scotland but was similar to parts in the North of Scotland.. It was summer when we were there so I didnt see any snow but would love to have seen it, however, I probably wouldn't have warm enough clothes.. we have snow here of course but a couple of inches at most...

Yes, Alaska's quite a ways north of us, but we still get a fair bit of snow (& winters can be dreadfully long...although in recent years, not too cold for extended lengths of time.)
