And on a Friday too! It'll stay there the whole weekend! 
Yay!
Right now Bergen is one big party, due to the Cutty Sark Tall Ships' Race! I can hear the cannon-thunder between the mountains as each and every ship is greeted with a salut when they arrive. The whole Bryggen is a car-free festival area, with beer-tents and barbeques! Vågsalmenningen and Torgalmenningen are stages for song and dance groups and tonight there will be dancing in the fishmarked - Torget. And all along the harbour sailboats in every size lies side by side.
