Hi, Bumblebee!
I came back to your page to read it through correctly. I like it as it is not too much overloaded. I've been in Bergen in 1992, I loved this town, it quite like our capital like all the Hanseatic towns are similar to each other . But Bergen is so clean and neat.
Also I'd point a small on your page, it's the link to the Bryggen - too much 9 in it. I hope you don't mind.
Please excuse my clumsy language, I hope also that you don't think I'm nuts or something (though I doubt in my sanity myself sometimes).

Oh yes, thanks! I've fixed the link now. Somehow that number didn't agree with me
I punched it in several times without getting it right!
And don't worry, your English is just fine And I quite like nuts.....
What were you doing in Bergen then?

I spent a month in Norway a guest of AUF. Usually we were involved in politics and we worked mainly on an island called Utoya or something like this and in Oslo, but mainly for entertaining we were taken to Bergen for two days. It was a great trip, I still wonder how it is organized in Norway - all across the country by train and boat, with stops at the nicest places. Estonia is a very flat place, you know and I've been in such high places never before.
Back to Oslo we travelled by bus and that was .
But Bergen was . We had some meetings there but I far as I remember I had "a terrible headache" and I needed a lot of fresh air . I don't remember very much about the places we were taken in Bergen (such like museums etc), I see in my memory some corners of the streets, some views, some smells and tastes. There was a small and very narrow street which somehow stayed in my memory. All the photos taken in Norway got destroyed . Then I promised that I'll go back to Norway some day.

I hope you'll give me a word if you comes by Bergen then!
I bet you remember the smell from the fish-market

Sure, I'll never miss a chance to meet a fellow-researcher as I've never seen one before. The part of it is of cource the dark future, I mean it may take years before I get myself to Norway, but OTOH it may happen sooner than I can guess now.
The smell of the fish-market is with me and the smell of some trees in the middle of the town, I don't know their name and they don't grow here. I remember usually some tiny details, very unimportant ones. And the big ones too, like the smell of the ocean. And you are always welcome here, also a nice place .

Thank you!
I didn't vote at all. Russia, you say. Well Mumi Troll has far better songs than this one was. But the singer is so charming.
Key: Complain about this post
