Hmm, what do you want to know?

Don't think about going veggie, you'ld find it really difficult!

If you like any of the following take a stock:
Worcestershire Sauce (Though I've been told you can buy it I haven't seen it smiley - sadface)
English Chocolate (Cadburys and Galaxy basically)
Bacon (It's not the same here smiley - sadface)
Baked Beans
Marmite
Peanut Butter (Again it's not the same)
Jelly
Salad Cream
Golden Syrup
Squash (No Robinsons though I quite like the apple squash you can get!)

Other than that I can't really think of much off hand. Will you be working or being a student?

You'll probably need to get a carte de sejour.

Where in France are you going?

I'll be going to the university of science and technology in Lille to do maths for a year. I've just handed in the form so my university's international office can apply for a place for me! It's all quite scary cos we've not been told a thing about what's going to happen yet... smiley - erm

, if you're going to a uni you'll be fine. There will be a large conglomerate of English speaking people and you'll have a great time.

If you think of any specific questions you want to ask then just let me know. A lot of the stuff you'll find will be dealt with in induction lectures etc when you get there.

Thanks! At the moment I don't have any specific questions - it's all one big question! I'm sure it'll all work out fine when I get there though smiley - biggrin
