I'M BAAAAAAACK!!!!
Posted Dec 1, 2000
Ok , so I have been gone for a long time now, go figure. What has happened you may ask? Well, I shall tell you ( I don't care if you don't want to know, sit down and shut up!) I've moved, I now live in the Boston area. I work in a local radio station. Which is cool because it means I get free CDs, concert tickets, theater tix etc...plus I get to meet some cool bands. I have met Barenaked Ladies, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Dandy Warhols, Angus, Shawn Mullins, Keb'Mo', Indigenous.... They were all pretty cool and nice! I am basically a grunt worker, but the perks are worth it and the people are the nicest. Plus there is something fun about getting to meet and know the DJs, it makes it twice as funny when you listen to them. You can listen to the station I work at on the web. If you want to know how, just ask. I am going to get more involved again on the site....promise!!!!! I missed y'all!

London
Posted Nov 9, 1999
My husband and I have the opportunity to fly to London for free but we have to stay in one of two recommended hotels. I was wondering if those of you who live there or have visited there could tell me about either of them. They are: Kensington Park Hotel and Regents Plaza. Are they nice hotels or scary? In good locations, etc. etc. I would really appreciate all input. Also things that to not be missed as it would be my first trip to England...... We could also use the tickets to go to Hawaii, which do you think we should do?
In other news, there is no other news. Oliver's mom is already asking about grandkids, and we have only been married for a month!!!!!!!!! Give me a break. I have enough trouble being responsible for a cat! Can you imagine? It's not like we can do what we would do for the cat if we were going away. Which is either leave extra food and water or get a cat sitter to come and feed him and play with him once a day. Somehow I think that could be construed as cruelty if it were a child.....call me crazy. Oh well, let her have her delusions. I will not let it get to me......

Hello, Hello,
Posted Nov 5, 1999
Greetings my fellow beings. I am back, I am married and I am alive, (maybe not in that order). I actually did not get rejected with the first thing I ever submitted and I was totally surprised. Am just now coming out of shock induced coma that this news put me into. Check out my entry on American Pennies (how do I put the link in here? oh well just go to the bottom of the page and link that way). Anyway, the wedding was wonderful and beautiful and then we went on our honeymoon. We went to Disney World and on one of their cruises, which was a ton of fun except that the first night we were on the ship we sailed straight through a hurricane and people were throwing up all over the place, as well as we got water in our cabin because the waves were so high. You would not believe the noises a 85,000 ton ship makes when it hits the water. Truly frightening. But the next day things were beautiful and we stopped off in the Bahamas. Good times were had by all. One of the bartenders on the ship was Australian and all he kept talking about was how he had vacation in a couple of weeks and he was touring the US and all he was going to do was shag and drink. So look out for him if you live in the states.
Otherwise there isn't much going on. I still have thank you notes to write (definitely the down side to a wedding), but since the wedding is over, I have more time on my hands and shall be popping in more frequently. Looking forward to talking to everyone soon!!!!!

I'm able to write again....
Posted Oct 2, 1999
Now that sounds more serious than it really was. I got terribly bogged down in wedding planning stuff and things were a little crazy. I was spending half my life in Massachusetts at my parent's where the wedding is taking place, going to meet with flower people (the vendors not the hippies, although I do enjoy the hippie ones as well), photographers (ours is a little flaky I am rather afraid), cake people (again people who make cakes etc etc), church people, reception people and finding centerpieces. At last I think I am ready sort of, at least I have done all I can do while not in MA so I am in NY just trying to sleep. It seems that there is some brain function that a week before one's wedding (yes, that is correct next Saturday Oct. 9 is the BIG DAY) one is unable to sleep, that is of course unless you are male. MY lovely fiance seems to have no problem getting way too much sleep every night and annoying me royally!!!!! The point to all this is that I will be around from now (Saturday) until Tuesday or so when I must go get everything ready for the wedding. So since I seem to not be sleeping I figured I might as well write things and bore everyone in the place. Please forgive my absence and please write to me again...........
